Earlier this year, we were tasked by the team at Clarion Housing to provide an interactive solution for their new development, Evergreen situated in Harringay.
The brief was simple, provide a reliable, adaptable interactive system the sales team can use seamlessly in the UK marketing suite but also take and use overseas. The system also had to integrate with an architectural model and work on both tablets and touchscreens.
We immediately knew digisuite was the perfect offering, but our first step was to reach out to the other companies and contractors working on this scheme to fully understand their involvement. This ensured we could inform them of what we would be doing and how we could integrate that within their current programmes and work together to ease the handover processes to the client. We also had to reach out and speak to the model makers to understand their system and how we could integrate the two as both would be taken overseas and to launch events in the UK so we needed to make sure the system was robust and catered to the flexibility of the client.
digisuite was developed and built in a couple of weeks, with particular focus being on the property finder section so we could ensure our friends at the model makers could test the model lighting before arriving on-site. We knew this was a key component of the install as we didn’t want to wait until we arrived on-site to know if the lighting setup was working, therefore, we visited their factory and tested the lighting to make the necessary adaptations which meant the install on-site would be far quicker.
Once the system was built, we were ready to install and set up digisuite ready for the launch week. This gave us additional time to add new features to the application, like a compare mode functionality which allows sales teams to compare plots side by side to assist buyers making difficult decisions. We also developed the application further so it could work not only on desktop computers, tablets and touchscreens but also on mobile devices in preparation for the launch event.
The interactive screen along with the integration with the architectural model brought a whole new element to the suite that not only elevated the customer experience but also aided the sales team to help showcase this amazing development. The tablets also allowed the sales team to each have an interactive element on hand to show customers coming through the door.
