Top Drawer SS18

Broste Copenhagen

Our first stop was Broste Copenhagen, Scandinavia’s leading interior brand. Their new collection explores new colour trends, natural materials, and edgy textures.

“It is the season for seeking places to retreat and recharge, and to appreciate the revitalised possibilities for outdoor life, absorb the aromas from the blossoming flowers, embrace the fresh air, and enjoy the long blissful evenings in the company of friends and family.” – Broste Copenhagen

Needless to say, we had some major plant envy!

Inspired by nature, Chives stunning coral wall stopped us in our tracks. These would make the perfect style statement or focal point in any retail space. And as Chive states –  “They are the plant/flower that never dies!”

These succulent pots with drainage holes will help you stay on trend, bringing the outdoors into your interior space.

Anna Jacobs

Lampshades, vibrant cushions, and statement wallpaper by British artist and designer Anna Jacobs help add those finishing touches to your space. Anna’s Falling Leaves collection and Chinese tree wallpaper will bring a pop of colour to any space.

Our interior designer fell in love with these beautiful hand-blown glass lamps!

The striking modern designs by Umbra stopped us in our tracks! So much so, that we had to take a snap of this perfect wall feature. Who else is feeling the geometric style…

Light & Living

Making a serious statement with lighting, it’s the Dutch brand Light & Living. Proving that gold and blush will be making an appearance next season, are you a fan?

So, what are our takeaways? Metallic isn’t going anywhere… especially when paired with blush pink. Rich colour tones – in particular, emerald green – will be hitting our interior spaces more this summer! Plants are making a huge comeback, expect to see patterns and colours next season.

Here’s what our Interior Designer thought about the event:

”Top Drawer SS18 is a really top draw exhibition!

Set in Olympia, spread over two floors, there was so much for us to explore and gain along the way!

The home and interiors section ignited lots of excitement and inspiration for our upcoming projects, with exhibitors showcasing beautiful and eclectic interiors from leading established brands and designers to the upcoming rising stars.

It was great to see our existing suppliers, as well as discover and form new connections with interior brands and suppliers, allowing us to continuously be on the front foot with latest interior trends and innovation!”  – – Interior Designer, Katie
