Concept To Reality

How we helped

Southern Housing Group approached the team to pitch for a large marketing suite, located in a vacant commercial space within the previous phase. The suite needed to showcase the development’s lifestyle whilst also housing a full mock two-bed show apartment. Split over two levels a bespoke staircase needed to be designed into the scheme to continue the customer journey. Due to there being no provision for a lift shaft to be installed, the smaller area on the ground floor needed to work as a full marketing suite for any visitors who could not ascend to the first floor. Working closely with the branding team for the development, Four Corners, the design leant heavily on the colour palette, taking inspiration from the local area and river.

What was achieved

Entering into the ground floor, the visitor is greeted with a concierge-style desk, creating a welcoming zone. A large ceiling suspended sign gently sits behind the desk, built from polished copper, reflecting light and shadows. A soft seating area nestles into the staircase void, with rich velvets and complimentary wall graphics. To help the sales journey, a simple lift and learn plinth was designed around the phases, present and future. The customer is invited to lift an apartment type, triggering the video content to explain features about that property.

The bespoke staircase is a striking addition to the marketing suite. Completely finished in the bold blue from the development branding from the flooring to the painted wooden full height uprights, this staircase seamlessly mimics the structural elements within the construction of the development, whilst also creating an impacting feature. Landing onto the first floor the open plan marketing suite showcases the hand laid flooring, mixing a herringbone laid oak, with inset solid colours, taken from the branding and complimentary shades. Random pops of colours continue through the key furniture pieces, sourced from across the world to ensure a high standard of finish. Graphically, the interior walls have been adorned with framed imagery of the development, with quotes from architects showcasing the development’s origins. Large mesh white letters sit boldly on a solid blue wall, with greenery growing out of the mesh, giving a nod to the element of the nature that surrounds the development.

The design throughout is bold but has soft finishes to ensure the interior is both memorable and functioning as a successful marketing suite.
